How to Install Fuel Lines From Gas Tank to Carburetor

    • 1). Locate the petcock on the fuel tank or the fuel pump. Locate the fuel nozzle and slide a coupling over the end of the fuel line. Screw the fuel line onto the nozzle.

    • 2). Tighten down the fuel line with the crescent wrench and begin running the line from the gas tank's location to the carburetor. Attach the the fuel lines to a cross-member or part of the frame of the vehicle every few inches with the zip ties.

    • 3). Cut the end of the fuel line with the clippers where the line reaches the carburetor nozzle. You do not want any slack in the fuel line. Slide a coupling onto the line and screw it onto the carburetor nozzle.

    • 4). Tighten the coupling down with the crescent wrenches.
