The game of soccer has captured a unique place in the minds of the people all over the world and has turned into the most popular sport game throughout the world.
Soccer is played by two teams with eleven players on each side and a spherical ball acts as the focal point of the game.
This game is usually played on a rectangular soccer field which can either be of grass or can be an artificially made turf field and there is the goal present in the middle of the sort ends on each side of the team.
The basic rule of playing the game so as to determine the winner is to be able to take the ball to the goal of the opposite team.
All the players can handle the ball only by their feet except the goalkeepers who can use their hands and arms to handle the ball.

This organization created the Laws of the Game and thus formulated the way in which the game has to be played.
All the countries which play this game are governed by the rules of the International Federation of Association Football which is also referred to as the FIFA.
FIFA World Cup is the highly acclaimed international soccer competition which takes place just once in four years.
Usually, the game is played according to the rules and regulations formulated by the Laws of the Game.
Each team has its own captain who has free-hand in making crucial decisions regarding the game.
The underlying point while playing the game is that the players cannot touch the ball with their hands during any point of the game.
During normal play, players are allowed to kick the ball in any path; however, the ball cannot be taken to the offside position.
Opportunities to make a goal are created by the players of either team and the various tactics used in the game includes passing over the ball to the teammates, dribbling, etc.
Players of the opposite team will definitely try to interrupt the pass.
A professional game of football is split into two halves which is of 45 minutes duration and there is a break of 15-minutes in between the two halves.
The referee has the full right to make decisions as per the Laws of the Game and his decisions are taken as the last word on the subject.
Soccer or football is definitely the most liked sport all around the world and the craziness observed in players and on-lookers during FIFA World Cup is worth a watch.
